    Description

Don Everly of The Everly Brothers 1963 Gibson J-180 Black Acoustic Guitar, Serial #106794 Owned and Played by Graham Nash.

Once owned by Don Everly of the Everly Brothers and later part of Graham Nash's personal collection. Not only has Graham owned this, he has also played it. This guitar is checked and has a few top cracks and changed tuners. The nut has been replaced, as well as the bridge. The neck set is good resulting in a very playable guitar. A pickup of unknown variety as been installed.

The Everly Brothers were a major inspiration for Graham when he co-founded the Hollies. Only a couple of years after meeting them on the steps of the Midland Hotel in Manchester as a fan before the Hollies formed, Graham would perform with the Everly Brothers onstage. This guitar was acquired from rare music dealer Fred Walecki.

"I can't tell you how important the Everly Brothers were to me as a musician growing up."

COAs from Graham Nash and Heritage Auctions.
