1990 Benedetto Black Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial # 001153, Weight: 7.2 lbs. Rare guitar built during a 6 month span as an effort by Benedetto to expand into the rock market in the late '80s. This Tele style guitar was offered along with a Strat style instrument. Although at a much lower price point than Benedetto's carved archtops and considerably less ornate, top quality woods were used including a maple neck and ebony fingerboard in the same dimensions as the Benedetto archtops, making it very desirable for guitarists desiring a wider fingerboard than Fender provided. Correspondence between Benedetto and the consignor (a Benedetto dealer) will be included. Light scuffs and dings but minimal play wear. Several chips to the finish in the cutaway. Hard case included.
