MF DOOM arguably one of the greatest lyrist of all time, from his early projects with KMD under the name of Zev Love X than to bearing the metal mask becoming the Supervillain. Not only was he a lyrical genius but was a master at producing tracks too. MF DOOM went under other aliases such as Viktor Vaughn, Metal Fingers and King Geedorah.

The DOOM SBs are an embodiment of the persona that Daniel Dumile crafted for himself following the death of his brother DJ Subroc. The metallic gray panels meant to represent his mask; the soles featuring album art that show DOOM as a cartoonish villain - it's a fitting tribute to the enigmatic rapper, the sneaker also branded with his distinct graffiti tag. KEO X-MEN (a.k.a Lord Scotch) is a Brooklyn born and legendry graffiti writer was a part of the project as well, he was responsible for the creative direction and illustration for the album packaging for MF DOOM's infamous "Operations Doomsday" and the design of DOOM's Metal Mask.

The outsoles are translucent which display DOOM themed illustrations.
