Description
Nike SB Dunk Low Paris - Arguably one of the most desirable Nike SB Dunk among sneaker collectors, this highly coveted dunk was exclusively released in Paris. Rumors of 202 pairs were made for Nike's traveling White Dunk Exhibition in 2003, the exhibition was about bringing talented artists (as selected by then C.E.O Mark Parker) together to create contemporary art based off the materials and stylings of a plain White Nike SB Dunk. The exhibition was held in various cities around the world - Paris, London, Tokyo and New York. Each of these events showcased an exclusive Nike SB Dunk colorway and were produced in limited quantities, hence why the pack is dubbed as the "City Pack". The Paris Dunks were intended to release exclusively at the "White Dunk: Evolution of an Icon" as a raffle but due to significant demand the release was delayed and circulated through select accounts in Paris including Opium and Colette. The Canvas upper are inspired by paintings done by Bernard Buffet who passed away in 1999. Each pair is unique from one another due to Nike cutting the canvas differently. Tan suede base, with hints of red on the leather Swoosh, tongue label and the stitching for the text on the heeltab.
