1984 John Sipe Violin #N/A Description direct from Violin Maker John Sipe of North Carolina:

This violin was made entirely by my own hand in the year 1984, in Charlotte, NC. It is a pattern designed after Stradivari and Guarneri models of Cremona Italy, with original traits by this maker.

The violin is made of seasoned wood- top of medium grain to fine in the center. The back is made from maple- twopieced- of small flame. Sides and neck are about the same flame. Varnish is made by the maker, of an old European formula, red-brown in color. Measurements 1) Upper bout 6 and 9/16ths 2) Middle bout 4 and 7/16ths 3) Lower bout 8 and 1/16ths 4) Length 13 and 15/16ths (signed) John Sipe. Certificate of Authenticity is signed and dated March 15, 1985. Includes two bows and a Knilling hard case. Condition: Very Good

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
