1993 L.A. Sax USA Presidential Model LA42T, #217280. On May 16, 1994 Peter LaPlaca, then CEO/President of L.A. Sax of Barrington, Illinois presented then President Bill Clinton with a red, white & blue tenor sax serial #1/150. He marveled @ how beautiful and patriotic it was, played a little bit of "Georgia on my mind" and then handed it over to a congressman from South Dakota. He would in turn take it back for display @ the National Music Museum in Vermillion.
Only 150 of these were made for national distribution and we are proud to offer #9 in the limited run of 150. Few incidental scratches on bottom edge from light playing. Hard case. Condition: Excellent
