Vox Phantom XII Vintage Italian-Made 12-String Electric Guitar. Produced from 1964-1967, the Phantom VII was a personal favorite of The Hollies' Tony Hicks and The Animals' Hilton Valentine. The Phantom's quirky pentagonal-shaped body became emblematic of the British Invasion, and once Vox stopped production of this model it instantly became a collectible. This guitar features an ebony fingerboard, three single-coil pickups and spring action vibrato. Condition is fair, with several dents in the body, a missing vibrato bar, and some cracks and discoloration to the pickguard. Some fret work and set-up will be needed to bring this guitar into playable condition. Serial number 245233, includes hardshell Fender-style case.
