    Tommy Tedesco's 1956 Gibson ES-175 Sunburst Archtop Electric Guitar, Serial # A22770.
    One of Tommy Tedesco's studio/Wrecking Crew guitars. F holes have been taped over to control feedback. Bass side f hole tape has been removed and has left a dried residue. Mute/damper has been installed on the headstock as seen in the photo. Tuners are changed to Schaller. Non-original truss rod cover. This guitar has been routed for a humbucker and one of the first Dan Armstrong pickups has been installed. There is a 3-4" crack in the treble side waist. You have most likely heard this guitar on records from the 60's & 70's. Case has a Tommy Tedesco luggage tag. This guitar was used on all of Tommy Tedesco's Discovery records as well as the Nick Martinez, Pete Jolly-Chunk Berghoffer jazz album. Hard case included. Condition: Fair.
