The Reverend Horton Heat's 1964 Fender Jazzmaster Sunburst Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #L55900 and Suit Worn On The Cover Of Debut Album Smoke 'Em if You Got 'Em.
Have yourself a psychobilly freakout at the sight of these items! Consigned directly from the Rev. Horton Heat (Jim Heath) himself, this is a 1964 Fender Jazzmaster and the suit he wore on the cover of his band's Sub Pop 1990 debut album, Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em.

Original and well played Jazzmaster. Original frets show minimal wear and have been dressed but have a good amount of play life left. Considerable finish wear and normal checking. Minimal rutting of the fingerboard, primarily in the first position. The bridge is a newer, correct style replacement. The tremolo arm is missing. 7.14lbs. Good Condition. Early 60's Fender brown hard case included.

The blue, black, and white jacket and pants are in Very Good Plus condition. There is a ½" spot of loss on the right collar along with a light stain (that measures ¾") near the left side, as well as soiling in the interior of the right side. The jacket measures 17" from armpit to armpit, 23" sleeve, and 31 ½" from the back collar to the bottom. The pants measure 41" in length and 34" waist.

As a nice bonus, there is a sealed CD copy of Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em included.

Started in the mid-1980s in the Dallas area, Heath has led his trio to international acclaim with a number of albums on Sub Pop and Interscope in the 1990s. With a punk tinge to his take on the rockabilly, country, and spaghetti western genres, albums like Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em, Liquor in the Front, and It's Martini Time are considered classics by fans. Anchored by longtime stand-up bassist Jim "Jimbo" Wallace and powerhouse drummers Patrick "Taz" Bentley, Scott Churilla, and RJ Contreras, the band continues to this day. Here's your chance to own items from the Rev himself, just as the world was starting to hear about the gospel of their music in the early 1990s.
