Ronnie Lane's Gibson Les Paul Electric Guitar. Ronnie Lane had a long career in the music business. In his native England, Ronnie was one of the original members of the Small Faces and a co-writer of such hits as "Itchycoo Park". Lane stayed with the band when it became Faces, featuring Rod Stewart and Ron Wood, and later set out on a solo career. Here is Ronnie's stage-used Les Paul Standard, a sunburst-finish guitar, serial number 82840532,which was played until Ronnie was forced to stop due to health reasons. It was later purchased by Maria Elena Holly in a special auction in Houston (where Lane had moved for his ongoing treatment of multiple sclerosis), an event arranged to help defray Ronnie's medical expenses. The guitar appears in Very Good condition, with moderate usage wear; an old crack on the backside of the neck has been neatly repaired. From Maria Elena Holly's Personal Collection with COA.
