Description

Bob Dylan's 1996 Fender Custom Shop Nocaster Butterscotch Electric Guitar #R1539. First of all, who a guitar was made for doesn't always make it a great guitar. With that being said, when it's a swamp ash Nocaster from Fender's Custom Shop and was made for Bob Dylan and weighs only 6 lbs 14 oz or 3.12 kg, you can bet that it's probably going to be one of Fender's best. J. W. Black installed a special 4-way switch and the guitar was shipped to Bob's guitar tech, Tommy, while Bob was on tour in Las Vegas Nevada. Mr. Dylan was having back trouble and decided not to keep it, so Tommy and the late Dan Martin from the St Charles Guitar Exchange negotiated a direct sale in November of '96.

We have a letter of Provenance from Fender's John Page, Vice President and General Manager, Fender Custom Shop 1987-1998. We are also including the Certificate of Authenticity from Fender's Custom Shop, an actual 1958 Fender tweed Princeton amp that Bob traded to Dan, one of Bob's harmonicas, a super cool thick brown leather guitar strap and a bag of 10 women's bras (assorted sizes ranging from a 34 B to a 36 D) and 2 pairs of panties. We can only imagine that these were thrown on stage by adoring female fans.

Estimated Value: $25,000+. Guitar comes with a Fender tweed hard case. Condition: Excellent yet Relic'd
