1971 Gibson Medallion Flying V Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #77.
The Medallion Flying V is a limited-run variation of Gibson's classic Flying V, produced in 1971 with only 350 units made. These guitars featured a numbered medallion on the body and were designed as a tribute to Gibson's 1958 Flying V. This example is # 77 and remains in remarkable condition with only minor finish wear, inside of the V sides, likely from a guitar stand. The knobs appear to have been replaced with speed-style knobs. Overall, a well-preserved and highly collectible Flying V from Gibson's early-'70s production.
