    1966 Fender Stratocaster Candy Apple Red Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial # 176850. Original custom-color finish with gold metallic underbase, shot twice. Original selector switch has been replaced with a five-way. (Original parts included.) Neck date is October 1966. Light to moderate overall weather checking with a few dings, scuffs, and scrapes. Frets show minimal wear, and it may have been refretted. Severe fingerboard rutting. Pickguard is cracked on treble side near selector switch screw and running up to bridge pickup. Also has crack at neck bass-side adjustment crew. Pickups date December 1966. Top dates 18th week of '66. Neck pickup cavity stamped "125CAR", also "CA" stamped on neck between body and middle pickup. Some wiring has been tampered with, but components are original except for the aforementioned five-way. Hard case included. Condition: Good.
