    Description

    1965 Fender Stratocaster Charcoal Frost Solid Body Electric Guitar, #L 57758. Very rare Charcoal Frost Stratocaster. All original with untouched solder. No repair, no modifications, no excuses. Neck date (2 OCT 64B). Pots date first week of 1965. Pickups are "CA" initialed and dated 2-15-65 (bridge), 2-12-65 (middle), 2-12-65 (neck). Rare green guard is probably original due to the transition era of this guitar. Finish has greened some but looks amazing with the green guard. Normal checking and edge wear with some rust on the neck plate through the plating. Has whammy bar. Very cool, cool piece. Sold with a later 1960's logo'ed hard shell case. 7.8 pounds.
