1963 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #L03958.
Pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster with its original Selmer hardcase and hang-tags. The neck date is Aug 63 B and the body date is 9/63. The pots date to the 24th week of 1963 and the wiring is all-original. A transition piece with a paint-stick mark and nail holes. The body appears to be Mahogany or Korina, though the use of Korina is somewhat disputed. The nut has been changed but the original is included. Only minor nicks, scuffs and checking to the finish but in beautiful shape overall. The original tremolo arm, bridge cover and strap are also included.
