1963 Fender Stratocaster Sonic Blue Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial # L06914. Original custom color guitar that has been viewed and inspected by several collectors and experts including a former Fender Master Builder. Has correct Desert Sand undercoat. Moderate weather checking, arm wear and belt buckle wear but none is severe. Has nail holes and painted neck pocket. Has early 1963 pickguard screw placement which is unusual but not impossible considering that this was a transition year for screw hole location as well as nail holes vs. paint stick. Neck date is JUL63B and pots date to the 33rd week of '63. Electronics are original and functioning with no signs of disturbance. Knobs are not original and the pickguard has been carved for truss rod access. Original white hard case included. Condition: Good.
