    1960 Gibson L5-C Natural Archtop Electric Guitar, Factory Order Number R3912 2, Weight: 7 lbs. Exceedingly rare factory electric L5 with an original Charlie Christian pickup. According to the owner, the guitar was special ordered by Harry James' guitarist during the time they were playing Las Vegas. The Charlie Christian pickup, which was available custom order through the 60's, was factory installed on an acoustic L-5CN which had a carved back as opposed to the plywood back of the L-5CES. A few nicks and scuffs to the finish. Center strip on the neck has a crack that runs from the 3rd to the 11th fret. Crack repair and two tiny drilled holes on the side at the lower treble bout. 5 inch repaired area at the input jack. Hard case included. Condition: Good. Price Guide Value N/A
