1958 Gibson Les Paul Standard Sunburst Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial # 8 5438. Good playing and sounding '58 Les Paul Burst. Has overspray on the back of the neck in play area with odd touch-up and fill on back of body near heel. Considerable buckle wear on back with some overspray in that area as well. Pots date to 34th week of 1957. Caps are Sprague Black Beauties commonly seen much later (1960). Newer yellow shield on cap wires. Professionally re-fretted fingerboard. Original pickups and rings. Original covers have been removed then re-installed over original P.A.F. pickups. Some evidence of overspray on back of peghead but it has not been re-finished.
