1956 Gretsch 6129 Silver Sparkle Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #21977.
A beautiful Silver/Sparkle Jet from 1956 with the infamous DeArmond pickups. Possible factory replaced neck post-1958. Moderate fret wear to the original frets. Good condition overall. Has some light binding deterioration on the heel cap only. The serial number is scratched into the control plate cover. There is a minor surface crack at the lower edge of back control panel but it does not appear to be all the way through, only on the surface. Electronics are original and working. Minor dings and scratches are present but nothing severe. Some overspray near the heel on the back of the body; not recent and very professionally done. This guitar black-lights correctly overall. Once of the iconic Gretsch guitars in good-looking condition. Personal inspection is advised. 8 lbs. Original hard case included. Condition: Good.
