1956 Fender Stratocaster Black Solid Body Electric Guitar, #09748. Refinished body, nail holes are not visible and have not been found. Not sure if this is the original body. Pickups are original, they are wound correctly but wires look newer. Both tone pots are original with fifth week of 1956 dates; volume pot has been replaced date is un-readable. Pickup cover is not original. Pickguard is replacement but shield plate is original for this era. Neck has TG 2-56 date in pencil, and appears to be authentic. Tuners are correct but considerable chipping on face at posts. Has crack in fingerboard from fifteenth fret to end. Considerable amateur soldering overall. Guitar has many issues and several original parts. "In person inspection" is highly recommended. Sold in "As-Is" condition. Hard case included. Condition: Fair.
