1955 Gretsch 6130 Round Up Knotty Pine Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #13116.
All-original and clean Gretsch Round Up. Normal weather checking to the original finish. Longhorn and cactus inlays and tooled leather trim. Somewhat rare Knotty Pine top with a Bake-o-Lite Melita Bridge. The bridge has two cracks in the center and one appears to have been glued. Electronics are original and working correctly. The bridge pickup is loose from the frame on the bass side but should be easily repaired. Minor dings, dents and scratches are present but nothing severe. Moderate wear to the original frets. Very minor rutting to the finger board. Normal wear to the gold plating on metal parts. Appears to have an older repaired crack on bass side of the heel. Possibly has had a neck reset as there is finish disturbance on the sides of the heel. 7.3lbs. Original tweed hard case included. Condition: Good.
From the Estate of John Ferriter. Los Angeles, California.
