1954 Gibson Les Paul Standard Natural Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #N/A.
Formerly an all-gold Les Paul Standard from circa late 1953-1954. Stripped and with a repaired headstock with splints installed. Tuners are changed to gold Schallers. Pickups are original but the caps (orange drops) and pots are changed (1974 date code). The switch is replaced and the tip is non-original. Refretted with small-ish frets and some binding repair/replacement on the neck. The knobs and back plate are non-original but the nut is original. The neck pickup output is 8.8 ohms. The bridge pickup will need to be re-wound. Slight top cracks at two of the knobs as seen in the photos. The truss rod cover is a non-Gibson replacement. Decent flame to the edges of the top. 9.12lbs. Hard case included. Condition: Fair.
