1953 Fender Telecaster Butterscotch Blonde Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #4005.
This 1953 Fender Telecaster, known for its iconic Blackguard design, features an all-original Butterscotch Blonde finish and is in beautiful, lightly played condition. The body, neck, and control cavity markings are consistent with Fender's classic craftsmanship of the era, with "Mary" on the wire date tape (4-02-53), a neck date of "TG 4-14-53," and a body date marked "Eddie 3-5-53." The guitar retains its original ashtray bridge cover, with the characteristic solder spot from painting still present. There is minimal fret wear, and only some slight finish wear on the neck. The guitar has slight checking in the original finish. All electronics are undisturbed and in good working order.
