Description1953 Fender Telecaster Butterscotch Blonde Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial # 3856. Black guard Telecaster with some restorations. The body has been refinished and aged. The pickguard is a very good aged reproduction. Neck pickup is a replacement and bridge pickup appears to be correct era however there is newer solder on the bass, possibly being cut and spliced. Pots, caps and switch appear to be correct but the solder is newer and dates on the pot are obscured by solder. Neck is refretted with brass frets except for a couple. This type of fret is normally seen on cheap import guitars but this neck appears to be legit with the exception of of the refretting, refinish and replacement decal. The case appears to be a reissue that has been aged to like like an original. We conclude this is a combination of some old and some reproduced parts from at least a couple of instruments. Personal inspection is advised.
Hard case included. Condition: Good.
