    1951 Gibson ES-5 Sunburst Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar, #A9115. Has moderate weather checking over all. Appears to have been sent back to Gibson to be converted to a Switchmaster probably in the 1960s. Appears to be factory quality work. Tailpiece may have been replated or replaced. Strap button has been added at heel. Some finish chipping at heel. Entire guitar may have been oversprayed when conversion was done. Has partial refret. Name and social security number is scratched on back of headstock. Normal play wear to finish on back of neck, primarily first position. Original hard case included. Condition: Good.
