1950 Fender Broadcaster Blonde Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial # 0402. Completely restored with a refinished body and neck. The logo has been replaced and the neck pickup is newer and from an unknown maker. Neck and body date to 11-1-50 but the initials appear to be DZ. The bridge pickup is correct steel plate. Nail holes are painted over and locator holes are all visible. No wire channel route. The pickguard is a good quality reproduction. The cap is replaced but pots appear to be correct. The switch is an old CRL but likely not original. The wires for the bridge pickup are cut and spliced at the control cavity. Tuners are recent single line reproductions. Screws for pickguard and control plate are non-original brass flat heads. Comes with its original Thermometer case. 9.8 lbs. This guitar was featured in the Pomegranate 2012 Classic Guitars calendar with text by Robert Shaw-Month of June. Hard case included. Condition: Good.
