    Description

The Beatles: Paul McCartney Signed Left-Handed Hofner Bass. A guitar that stands as a timeless symbol of vintage Paul McCartney, presented here is a beautiful 1962 re-issue left handed Hofner bass guitar, beautifully signed across the pick guard by McCartney himself in black felt tip marker. Designed to the near exact specifications as the historic Hofner used by McCartney on such key appearances such as "The Ed Sullivan Show". Obtained directly from a McCartney relative who acquired the signature on the eve of the Millenium, December 31, 1999, accompanying this guitar is a certificate of authenticity from UK Beatles' authority Tracks. Very slight smudging to the small "c" in McCartney, otherwise in superb condition. Of the handful of signed Hofners in existence bearing McCartney's autograph, only a select few are left handed, true to McCartney's playing style. From The Tom Fontaine Music Memorabilia Collection.
