Michael Anthony's circa 1980's Custom Billet Purple Electric Bass Guitar.
This one-of-a-kind, custom billet electric bass guitar was commissioned and owned by Michael Anthony, legendary bassist for Van Halen. Created through a collaboration between Brad Fanshaw of Hot Rods by Boyd and designer Chip Foose. Designed and built in the 1980s as a fusion of high-performance hot rod culture and rock 'n' roll attitude, this instrument features a purple-anodized billet aluminum body paired with a wooden neck and headstock, and an EMG pickup. The bridge is missing.
