    Description

Circa Late 1950's Silvertone U-1 Black Electric Bass Guitar. Moderate play-wear with heavy finish checking to the body. Appears to have been re-finished in a thicker than usual lacquer, which has checked severely. Playability is poor but the bridge is adjusted up as far as it will go. Bridge screws show lean and some damage to the wood at the insertion point. Frets show some wear and flattening. Pickup has output, but the electronics will need servicing for proper function. Sold in project-grade "as-is" condition. Original hard case included. Condition: Fair.
