circa 1966 Gibson EB-2 Cherry Electric Bass Guitar, Serial #527457. This is a circa 1966 Gibson EB-2D semi-hollow electric bass guitar in a light cherry finish, Serial #527457. The finish has aged into a unique, almost watermelon-like hue. The instrument shows moderate cosmetic wear and lacquer checking throughout. The neck has been reglued at the heel, but due to a poor neck angle, it will require a neck reset for proper playability. Electronics are currently functional, though they would benefit from cleaning to restore optimal performance. This EB-2D ships in a 1960s Guild hard case, which is in rough condition.
