Description

1983 Kramer Duke Black Electric Bass Guitar, Serial #B2685.
This is a 1983 Kramer "The Duke" electric bass in black finish, featuring a compact, headless design and aluminum-neck construction with wood inserts. Lightweight and ergonomic, this bass was built with gigging in mind. It's all original, including factory EMG pickups and original hardware. The instrument shows mild scuffs and dings consistent with regular use. The original speed knobs display some paint wear but remain fully functional.
Original hard case included. Condition: Good.

Kramer's "The Duke" bass was part of a forward-thinking wave of instruments designed in the early 1980s to be compact, road-ready, and modern. Its headless design and aluminum-neck construction-with wood inserts for added warmth-delivered both durability and a distinctive tone that made it a favorite for touring musicians. The factory-installed EMG pickups offer clear, punchy output that suits a wide range of genres from rock to funk. Despite minor cosmetic wear, this instrument remains fully original and stage-ready. For collectors of innovative 1980s designs or players seeking a dependable, lightweight alternative to traditional basses, this Kramer Duke is a standout example with authentic vintage appeal.
