1955 Fender Precision Blonde Electric Bass Guitar, Serial # 0815. Has changed pick-up and pots. Pot dates are 1966 and capacitor is same era, pick-up is '60s white string wrap. Neck date is TG-1-55. Body date is 1-55. Appears to have been refurbished, refinished, or oversprayed completely. A few screws have been replaced. String tree appears to be replacement. Has minimal weather checking, a few areas of vinyl coil cord burn on back, and finish play wear primarily on back of upper horn. Some staining on body, probably from case bleed, and input jack cup appears to have been glued in. Original center-pocket tweed hard case has some duct tape repairs on each end. Condition: Fair.
