    Description

Mid-1920s Gibson A-4 Sunburst Mandolin. Original label is deteriorated, making it impossible to discern the serial number, but being a truss rod model with a patented adjustable bridge would place it in the mid-'20s. No cracks to top or back; two side cracks radiating from butt pin. Six-inch side separation of back to sides at butt. Heavy finish wear, nicks, and scratches. Very worn original frets. Excellent neck angle. Worthy of professional restoration. Original hard case included. Condition: Fair.
