1955 Fender Deluxe Tweed Guitar Amplifier, Serial #DO 1196.
This 1955 Fender Deluxe Tweed amplifier is a first-year model for the legendary narrow panel design. The tube chart date code (EL) confirms a December 1955 manufacture date, while the speaker date code places it in the 47th week of 1955. The amp retains all-original components, including the speaker, transformer, and capacitors. The original power cord is present, though the plug has been replaced. The tweed covering shows minor wear at the corners, consistent with its age. The amp powers on but has not been fully tested, and should be serviced by a qualified technician.
