Gibson L-5 Archtop Acoustic Guitar (1934) Condition: Very Good.
Gibson's 16" carved top L-5 was its first to feature f-holes, and has proven to be a popular guitar among players for many years. Among those who favor the L-5 have been Mother Maybelle Carter, Wes Montgomery, Lee Ritenour, Eric Clapton, and John Mayer. Features a great, soft V-shaped neck. The body of the guitar shows light wear, and the strings have been repositioned more narrowly on the bridge for small hands. Included, but not attached, is a floating Shadow pickup designed to be attached to the pickguard. This sunburst beauty has a serial number of 91438, and comes with its original purple-lined case. From the Russ Cochran Guitar Archive.
