circa 1943 Gibson LG2 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar.
This circa 1943 Gibson LG-2 features the rare all-mahogany body construction, a notable deviation from the typical spruce-topped design of the era. As a wartime "banner headstock" model, it bears the classic "Only a Gibson is Good Enough" slogan. The bridge has been replaced, and several internal braces show evidence of replacement, with visible glue residue inside the body. A small filled patch is present on the fingerboard at the 1st fret. The frets appear original with moderate playwear. A crack is present on the back along the center seam strip and has not been repaired. Neck set is acceptable.
Hard case included. Condition: Good.
