    Circa 1937 Gibson J-55 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar, Factory Order Number 812 F. Pre-war Gibson with rare Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. Spruce top. Very heavy wear and scratches to the finish. Recently installed Grover Deluxe tuners. Body binding has yellowed considerably. Initials "J.D." scratched into the heel. Some areas of amateur touch-up to the top. Original bridge and bridge plate. Input jack added at butt area. Good neck angle. Seldom seen Brazilian Rosewood example worthy of a professional restoration. Original soft case in rough shape included. Condition: Fair.
