1963 Gibson Hummingbird Cherry Sunburst Acoustic Guitar, #107760. Heavy play-wear all over. Appears to have been sent back to Gibson for some repair as the headstock serial number is the larger variety with different spacing. Possibly re-neck'd as the nut width is 1 9/16" instead of the standard 1 11/16" as per 1963 specification. The top shows warping and several short cracks. The bridge is lifting slightly and shows splits around the pins. End of fingerboard drops into body significantly. The back shows binding separation at the bass side waist and one noticeable tight crack. Neck heel has a fracture that goes all the way through and is re-glued. Frets show moderate wear. Entire instrument shows finish checking. Appears to have some loose braces as well. Sold in "as-is" project-grade condition. Soft case included. Condition: Poor.
