Description

1948 Gibson Super 400 Blonde Archtop Acoustic Guitar, Serial # A2353. A very nice example. There are no wood cracks, but the back center seam is finish checked and slightly discolored for about three inches at each end of the seam. There are small screw holes on the bass side of the fingerboard at the end of the neck most likely to facilitate a pick up mount. All metal, wood and plastic parts are original. The guitar has been inspected by all experts here at Heritage as well and Tom Van Hoose, well known archtop collector and expert. It is the opinion of all that a high quality professional light overspray or spritzing has been applied. Custom road case included. Condition: Good.
