    1947 Gibson L5 Sunburst Archtop Acoustic Guitar, Serial # 99857. Very high quality factory level refinish. Two back cracks have been repaired prior to refinish and blend well. Top is crack free with small finish shrinkage area under dark area of bass side lower bout. Finish crack at headstock-neck area. A minor crack may have been repaired prior to refinish. Pickguard plastic has typical degrading. Neck is straight with excellent frets and original tuners. From the estate of Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame Member Jim Boyd. Original hard case included. Condition: Very Good. Price Guide Value $7,000
