1936 Martin 000-45 Natural Acoustic Guitar, Serial # 62275. 000-45's are among the more rare and collectible Martins. This particular triple-0 has many changes. The neck has been replaced. The bridge has been replaced. The new bridge plate is oversized and maple. The two large pickguards are not original. The entire guitar has an amateur level refinish and overspray. Included with this guitar is a neck that is not the same year as the guitar and has a non-original dot inlay fingerboard. The overlay looks correct but the neck has been modified and would only have a nut width of 1-5/8th. The neck appears to be a 1934-35, not matching the 1936 numbers in the guitar. The back and sides are heavily over-finished but are crack free and made from Brazilian Rosewood. This guitar provides the perfect opportunity for a master restore job. Minor checking, nicks and scratches are present. Hard case included. Condition: Fair.
