1924 Gibson Lloyd Loar L5 Sunburst Archtop Acoustic Guitar, Serial #77391.
This is one of those guitars that one hears about but rarely sees. A 1924 Gibson Lloyd Loar L-5 in excellent condition. The guitar is correct. The guitar has not been touched up, fixed up, modified or repaired. The back is loose from the side for about 4 inches at the treble side lower bout. No repair has been attempted. This is a fabulous, crack-free guitar. The master model label is clean and clear with the serial number 77391. "VIRZI" Tone No. 10322 is also visible inside the body. The label in the treble F hole clearly shows the Nov 17 - 1924 date and the signature of Lloyd Loar. Original hard case included. Condition: Excellent.
