    1958 Gibson J-185 Natural Acoustic Guitar, #T4933. Significant strumwear to top finish. Overfinish on wear-through areas. Original bridge has been shaved flat on top and cut thinner on back during reglue. Original saddle slot has been filled and moved. Tight clean top crack from high E to butt. Guitar has been refretted but fingerboard is not overly thin. Silver dollar size wear-through of back finish, has been touched up and sealed. Several minor touchups of bare wood areas. Neck finish extremely worn through. Chips, dings, and scratches over entire guitar. Original tuners have been replaced with gold Schaller tuners. Replacement tuners attachment screw holes partially outside of boundary of original tuner footprint. Back of peghead has original mahogany overlay. Very fine finish crack in nut area is not a peghead crack but minor separation of glue joint between overlay and main body of neck. Very nice straight neck. Peghead overlay finish heavily chipped. Quarter inch input jack in butt. Original bridge plate is loose with small maple doubler over bridge pin areas. Interior of guitar nice and clean. Stick on Shadow pickup. Hard case included. Condition: Good.
