Woodstock began as a profit-making venture, and it only became a free festival after it drew hundreds of thousands more people than the organizers were prepared for and the entry gates erected had been torn down by the eager arrivals. Featured here is an unused three-day ticket for the legendary festival (serial number 44321), in Excellent condition, accompanied by a copy of Life's special edition magazine featuring numerous photos from the event, in Fine condition.
