Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus Invitation Card (1968). On orange index stock, printed in green ink, with one side emblazoned with an elephant wearing a banner reading "The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus" and the the other reading in part: "You are invited to the Rolling Stones' Rock and Roll Circus on Wednesday, 11th December, 1968 at the studios of Intertel Television...Costumes Provided". Measures approximately 3" x 5", in Excellent condition.

Conceived as an unconventional way to promote the Stones' landmark Beggars Banquet, The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus featured performances by the Stones, the Who, Taj Mahal, Jethro Tull, Eric Clapton, John Lennon and Yoko Ono. It was filmed as a full-length TV concert film, and was the final live appearance of Brian Jones as a member of the Stones. Due to what Mick Jagger deemed a lackluster performance from the band, the film remained unreleased until 1996.
