Prince 2016 Unused Graded Final Show Concert Ticket Encased by PSA. An amazing piece of music history (currently known as the only one graded and encased): an unused ticket from the final show Prince Rogers Nelson played before his death on April 21, 2016. Performing only with a piano and a microphone, it was a rare chance to see the multi-talented performer stripped down to the essentials on April 14 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. The show was originally scheduled to on April 7, but it was postponed due to illness. Word is he was still sick when he arrived to perform on the 14th, but nonetheless he would go on to play the marathon. Usually backed by a large ensemble behind, it was like seeing Prince's songs in the embryonic stage. He performed two extensive sets (with encores) of hits and covers, as well as an original made legendary by another performer ("Nothing Compares 2 U"). Covering Vince Guaraldi, Joni Mitchell, Bob Marley, and David Bowie as well, his final tune he played was a medley of classics from Purple Rain, including the title cut.
