John Lennon and Yoko Ono First Appearance at the Royal Albert Hall Unused Ticket for "Celebration in December", December 18, 1968 (UK). 5.25" x 2.25", printed in black ink on pale green card stock. The Celebration in December was an event held by Arts Lab with the intention of challenging people's minds and attitudes toward art, in this respect very much in keeping with the underground scene at the time. What better place for the birth of "Bagism", John and Yoko's attempt to satirize prejudice and stereotyping. The two performed a 30-minute conceptual piece titled Alchemical Wedding, in which they sat mostly cross-legged in a bag as a man played a flute. The ticket is accompanied by a 6" x 4" black-and-white print of John and Yoko at the event. Excellent condition.
