Description
Doors Unused Concert Ticket With Promo Flyer (1967). With "complimentary" scrawled across the ticket diagonally in permanent marker, this is a pass to one of the Doors' two consecutive San Bernardino July 4th concerts, this one taking place in 1967 at the Kaiser Dome on the Orange Show Grounds. The ticket, measuring 6" x 2.75", promises free records, light shows, and fireworks, and with a set containing the hits "Break on Through", "Light My Fire", and others, I'm sure this show was the coolest way to celebrate independence in 1967! Also included with the ticket is a 8" x 11" promo flyer from May, 1967, with a full-page review singing the praises of the Doors' self-titled debut album. The ticket exhibits toning, light handling wear and two very minuscule tears at the top edge. The flyer appears to have been cut with scissors along the left edge, and features light creasing down the right side, with a .5" tear on the right edge. Both items in Very Good to Fine condition.Auction Info
