    Description

Beatles - Washington Coliseum Ticket & Parking Stub (1964). A used ticket stub and parking voucher from the first-ever Beatles concert in the US, held in Washington DC, at the Washington Coliseum on February 11, 1964. Under 48 hours after the Fab Four's historic appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, thousands of adoring fans, screaming so loudly that the band themselves could barely be heard, were treated to a pivotal performance, which included infectious Beatles classics "I Want to Hold Your Hand", "She Loves You", and "I Saw Her Standing There". Opening acts were the Chiffons, the Caravelles, and Tommy Roe, who were all plowed over by the unstoppable force that was Beatlemania. The stub, though obviously torn, as it was used, still shows the "Be-" of Beatles, as well as the date, section (53), row (E), and seat (3) numbers. Very Good condition.
