The biggest selling band in the history of popular music first hit American shores via radio play of the infectious single, "I Wanna Hold Your Hand". From there, Beatlemania basically exploded, as more than three thousand adoring fans were waiting on the Fab Four as they touched down at JFK airport in New York, while an inconceivable 73 million people tuned in to see the mop-tops on the Ed Sullivan Show on February 9, 1964. Two days later, on February 11, the Beatles performed their first full concert on US soil in Washington DC at the famous Washington Coliseum. After opening acts the Caravelles, Tommy Roe, and the Chiffons warmed up the crowd John, Paul, George, and Ringo treated a screaming horde of Beatlemaniacs to a landmark performance. Their set, consisting of classics "All My Loving", "I Wanna Be Your Man", "She Loves You" and many more. This ticket, unused and in Near Mint condition, would have made for a life-changing experience. It's for section A, row 5, seat 13, in orchestra seating! A ringside seat to an absolutely momentous occasion in the history of Rock & Roll! Measures 1.5" x 4".
